The weather at Bemm River turned it on this afternoon warming up to a comfortable 17ºC with a light 4-6kt North Easterly, making it a bit easier to finish setting up all the boats. The four day forecast is looking promising for some quality fishing with competitors already discussing where they’ll be spending their time on the water.
The site is looking fantastic with the trailer set up and ready to go, and rows and rows of Hobie Pro Angler 14s stickered up and loaded with Powerpole micro anchors, Hobie Live wells, Ram GoPro mounts and Lowrance sounders, all ready for boat allocation tomorrow.
The vibe in Bemm is also heating up with the arrival of the European contingent tonight, just in time for dinner, a couple of beers and catching up with friends old and new despite what has to be some pretty horrific jet-lag. Let’s hope the boys recover in time for the first day of competition.
