Well it's time to start rigging up the Adventure. I just started yesterday so I haven't got a chance to do much. First off I mounted two 4" pieces of YakAttack Gear Trac to the front sides of the kayak.

On the right side the GearTrac will allow me to mount a Panfish Portrait W/camera. Or perhaps a rod holder.

On the left I will mount my FishFinder. For right now I have a made a temporary transducer mount with a YakAttack dogbone combo.
ImageEventually I'll move the transducer to the rear of the kayak but I'm waiting for a mount to be made before I can do that.Image

For the battery I'll be mounting it back in the 8" twist & Stow hatch in the rear of the kayak.

That is the standard GearTrac. The new 090 series has not been released yet. I believe the product is in the final stages I believe and should be out soon.

Hanover_Yakker is correct this this the standard 4" gear trac. The new thinner Gear Trac will be around .900 and will be released later this year. I too want to use it on the sides farther up in front of the depth finder.

The rear hatch for the battery is the best idea yet. Thanks! :!:

did the same with my battery .found that a few holes drilled under the battery allowed any drips of the wet stuff to drain into hull so battery wasnt sitting in water nice clean mounts like em
