Sunday is fast approaching, and the numbers are increasing. with half a dozen each of TIs and AIs potentially arriving for an informal day on the lake. Weather forecast is maximum of 26 with winds or around 10 knots. Wallis Lake is a horrible place to sail

If you want to join us for an informal day out on the water, please PM me, or just turn up

I was looking forward to this one Tony but it looks like our family Christmas get togethers have already started this weekend. Due to distances we only see each other once a year so I suppose I'd better do the 'family' thing. Should be great weather for you all. Thanks for the invite and hope to catch up at another event soon.

Sorry you can't make it this time Slaughter, looks like I will be spending the following weekend at Belmont Pines Lakeside Holiday Park with my TI, so maybe we and/or some of the other Island flyers on the Lake might be able to go for a sail then, PM me for my contact details

Well, we are in business! The Mid-North Coast Hobie Island Club launched today, and we had the owners of nine Islands and 4 TIs plus 3 AIs in attendance.

The wind took a while arriving, but this just gave us more time gas-bagging and swapping stories. I am sure the club will go on to greater things.
(PS. I am based in Belmont next weekend, so looking forward to being shown the sights of the Lake.)

Gday Guys, just back on the Board after some time out with health issues.

Great to find this Thread Tony and maybe be able to join you guys one day.

I will be getting a Trailer soon for my AI and then I can use it more often as loading it on the Van was getting too much of an effort.

Spending the last week in Feb with some Sail/Yak Mates at Foreshores Cara Park at Nambucca Heads, has a good ramp close by accomadation and is very affordable.

Nice to meet you.

Max, Coffs Harbour

Great to hear from you Skymax. It is worth joining the Island Club even if you won't get down Forster way too often, as you receive a Haynes long-sleeved Island Club T shirt for each seat in your Island plus a coupe of stickers which can identify your involvement via either your hull or your car. Not shabby at all for free of charge, hats off (again) to Hobie!

Cheers
Tony

Really I didnt know that! I will have to look into it.

Oldmate is about to pounce on a new AI so it will be good to have a partner.
