Darned if I didn't "invent" a new way for us to lose things. Normally I am very careful to tether/lash down pretty much everything on the AI. BUT last week after an exciting eighteen mile excursion out of Freeport Florida in the breezy bay, we were back in the calm waters close to the landing and I had my Garmin Legend GPS sitting on the hatch cover between my knees. As we approached the shore, I pull the dagger board, furl the sail, and remove the Mirage drive, oops, the water gushed in the hole, and carried the GPS right back out in an instant! I quickly grabbed the paddle and spun the boat to look for it, but it was gone...Just a quick post to prevent someone else from doing the same thing. (enjoy) Mark C.

That sucks! (But it's good to see somone else in this area is sailing an AI, perhaps I'll see you out there someday.)
