Hi Mat! This is my first posting. I have had a kayak for 7 years. I am having problems with the rudder control and also the pullup on the rudder. I have an old drive system and will need new parts. Could you send me some information on how to adjust the rudder and the lockup. Also some info on parts for the old drive? Thankyou!

All you need should be in the support area:

http://www.hobiecat.com/support/index-kayak.html

Instructions on several different versions of rudder systems, link to the parts catalog etc.

This is timely! I have an older Mirage classic that just had rudder failure waaay out in a big lake inlet.

You can bet I made extremely good time returning to the launch area because I was pedaling and paddling together.

I'm going to need to check and repair the rudder system and the main problem I've had is getting to it and seeing what is what in there - so the instructions are very helpful.
