I've had the sprocket guards on my Mirage drive stretched so they longer stay in place like they should. My boat is still under warranty. I've tried emailing and calling Hobie to no avail. How should I go about getting replacements.

Other people have had the same trouble, but better luck with getting replacements. Check the link below for a good picture of the problem.

Just call your dealer (toll free 1800hobie49)

Not sure why you've experienced any delays, maybe you have the wrong e mail for hobie....in any case it shouldn't take long to have some new ones sent to you. Just provide the shipping address and ask for part number 81420.

Last year sometime our injection molding vendor experienced some troubles with the plastic - a small number of them would deform. It has still not been determined what exactly was happening. The replacements will be fine, you shouldn't have any more problems.
