While I was fishing over a reef not far off the beach and chatting it up with a couple surfers, I saw an outside wave coming in so I hurriedly put my fishing rod back into the Quest's rod holder, started paddling to build up some speed, then turned the bow into the wave.
Always aim the bow into the waves. If you get hit broadside, you'll be swimming.
Here's the video: www.photosupportsystems.com/Kayak/Kayak ... ideSet.wmv

Hi ronbo613. Nice video. Do you have that sport camcorder with a helmet mount?

It's what's commonly known as a "helmet cam". The camera is similar to the ones used on race cars to give you the point-of-view look. It's in a waterproof case and bolted to a bicycle helmet.
