Potential scupper leak in PA

I just purchased a PA and after reading this board about leaks in the scuppers, I checked them out. 3 seem fine, but one, when you feel the inside of the scupper hole has a significant overlap where the top half of the hull is welded to the bottom. I would assume this would indicate it is not sealed and will result in a leak. Any insights??

A molding defect will not indicate a leak. You need to do an air pressure and soapy water test.

I didn't think the PA was made in two parts. My understanding was that it was a rotomolded
one piece hull.

It is roto molded as one piece.

Scuppers are formed by pins that touch from either half of the mold. It is not uncommon for the plastic material to catch when soft and cause a ripple or stretch / deform the scupper when the hull is removed from the molds. The question is if the material is compromised (hole).
