Trying to figure out how to take out (and then reinstall) the new style eyelets. They dont seem to want to unscrew and I dont want to break any (but afraid it will happen).

What happens if one breaks off?

Also cant figure out how the plug and bungie holding the front hatch is removed and replaced. I would like to lenghten mine slightly so hatch lies flat when open.

Any suggstions would be appreciated.

Bob

The plugs are threaded in and, yes, they are very tight. Standard threads... rightie tightie! We use a tool on the bungee plugs that has two small prongs. You can used a pair of needle nose pliers. Let us know how it goes. I would be happy to replace the fittings if they get damaged.
