Hello All: I have a Scotty Rod mount that needs to be moved down to accomodate my new fishfinder. I will have two holes that will be exposed to the water/elements. What are your recommendations in terms of filler? Silicone? Epoxy? Thanks, Rol |

A good quality silicone from Lowe's or HD should work just fine for that. Or you could use one of the "goops", or even epoxy. No big ting, either way, it would seem. |

Doesn't Hobie supply some repair sticks in matching hull colors, that are applied with heat? If so, it seems they would make a great patch, and virtually invisable! |

I would simply go the route of simply putting screws, washers & nuts in the holes. Wolfie |

I agree with Wolfie. Use a stainless steel round head screw (available at Lowes) with a dap of lexel-goop-silicon etc under the head. The plastic sticks from Hobie are good too but you normally need a plastic welding gun for application. llt |
