Had you fooled there for awhile didn't I. With the winds here in northcentral Texas, and not being able to get out I got BORED, so I decided to build a yak. Yes the bungees work, the paddle comes off just like the real thing, the seat comes off, the Mirage Drive doesn't work but looks cool. It took me 20 hours and lots of patience. I will use it to catch SMALL FISH!!!!!!

My next project will be tiny fishing poles for the yak!!

WOW!

That's awesome attention to detail JJ. I honestly didn't even notice the spiral notebook and papers stacked up in the back right corner of the 4th picture until I saw the shot of it in your hand and did a double-take!

Try to send it back to Hobie and ask for a full-sized replacement because your's obviously shrunk in the washing machine.

WTG J.J.,
I was hoping that you would post your new BigA here also. Now, mebbe you could make a model of the "Revolution" for the Hobie brass to eyeball. Actually, come to think of it, this could BE the model for the "Revolution"!! Again--awesome job. :!: :!: :!:

JJ I hope Hobie notices how you have your paddle straped down. Much better than my Adventure. I like the rear cargo modifications. Would that be four pole holders?

Offroad,

Thats actuall two rod holders and two cup holders, but I never use the cup holders. I have my light post mounted to one of the cup holders, and the other I toss lures into it. The rod holders I don't use at all, need PVC extensions. Hey I need to put a couple of those on there also, and maybe a couple on the little milk crate.
