I have a twist N stow rudder conversion for the E Volve motor.
When I pull the up leaver the motor bangs on the rear deck my 2011 Oasis Kayak and as a result of this motion I have broken the slide tongue and groove plate that covers the cable to the motor. Where can I order a new plate and does anyone have a suggestion that would prevent this from happing again.

1. Control the flip up rate by using both handles at once.
2. Fashion a pad/cushion/carpet for the deck (held on by Velcro?). 8)
