I have two Hobie Mirage Tandems that I car top using the Thule Stacker rooftop carrier. While the setup works it takes a lot of time to secure: a total of 8 straps: 4 for the Stacker, 2 for front/rear, and 2 to pull the yaks together through their Mirage Drive ports. I was wondering if anyone has tried using the Thule Hull-a-Port Pro J-Cradle to transport a Mirage Tandem. Is the Hull-a-Port Pro wide enough to secure the width of the Hobie kayak?

Thanks for anyone who advice using J-Cradles with the Mirage Tandem.
