I am storing a 13' Revo and 9' Outback upside down on the rails on a homemade yak rack. Question is, is there an optimal distance between the support arms of the rack that hold up the yaks? I realize the length difference may make the optimal distance different on each boat. Currently there is about 50" between the support arms of the storage rack.
Thanks in advance.

If using two supports, I would say that dividing the yak in 1/3s is the best placement of the supports. But two length differences you make this hard to do as an exact measurement. So take the average of both and give both support as close to 1/3 as possible. Good Luck
