I went to look at a new 2012 Outback and did not see the Mirage Drive guides. Do they not have it like the Revo 11? Or did the dealer show me early year productions and only the later productions will have it?

I believe all the '12 Mirage boats have the slotted drivewells to accommodate the Drive pins, and all the 2012 Mirage Drives have guide pins sticking out through the spine. You can tell the model year on any boat by looking at the last 2 digits on the serial # (rear of the hull bottom or skeg). for instance, all the '12 models will end in 12. 8)
