You might consider using a Hullivator.

The link below takes you to an interesting post and responses re a Hullivator and an Oasis.

Trailex has a new trailer for NuCanoe, and I may try it for our Oasis versus our Malone.

Our favorite lake and yak launching site no longer allows wading to launch your yak. You must use their ramp and dock and not wade. Tricky for young bucks and dangerous for us senior citizens.

A small trailer can make transporting your yak easier. Your yak never has to leave the trailer when its off the water. The trailer can be used as a dolly to get your boat to and from the water, or to its storage location at your residence.

The Trailex SUT-200-SNC is a new lightweight aluminum trailer. .

Although a slightly older thread I did benefit from it last fall when I purchased a 2013 Oasis and was trying to decide how to transport the larger Oasis on our 2010 Subaru Outback.

I initially decided on the hulley rollers on the back and the kayak cradles on the front with a helper bar in back to clear the high brake light fin that goes out from the roof. I had even purchased parts of the set up before I bought the Oasis.

Then I started looking at trailers on Craigslist and found a used 2010 trailex trailer in perfect shape which I bought for $400. What a correct decision that was for my wife and I as I keep the Oasis on the trailer in the garage and simply hook it up and go in less than 10 mins. It pulls easy and fast and is super easy to take off and on or launch from nearly everywhere.

I believe getting the trailer has us going out more (just about every weekend) than if I had to look to hoist it on the roof of my car each time. I am VERY happy I got a trailer versus carrying that large of a boat on the roof for local and regional trips. Too easy to lift the 2' off the trailer to the ground or water.

My wife and I just returned from Key West (flew in) but if I were to drive down to southern Florida on vacation and wanted to take the Oasis (I do in the future) , I decided while I was down there that I would probably go ahead and buy the roof rack components and load it on the car roof for the long drive down I95 from VA.

I feel I could travel faster with less chance of a trailer tire blowing, etc with it on top. But that is about a 1400 mile road trip. To go to the OBX (NC), I would simply pull the trailer and never worry about it.
