stk that's what I am afraid of. I am principally an angler who fishes from a kayak and agree that the Outback is a superb fishing platform. I have owned enough paddle yaks to appreciate that. The only feature that really bugs me is its poor manners into wind and chop - that is the constant spray it throws up. I am going to try the suggestion of putting a dry bag of water into the bow to see if that cuts down on the pounding. In all the speed comparisons I have seen between yaks the Outback isn't hugely behind the others, particularly in relation to the distances I typically cover.
Tom Kirkman remarked that the Revo is at least as wet as the Outback - its just that darned pounding!!!
Oh well I am in no rush to make a decision - maybe all I have to do is convince Anne, (my wife), that she needs a Revo 13 rather than her Sport.
