I bought an Aventure labelled "DEMO." No misrepresentation by the dealer. what's the difference between a DEMO and a non-demo. Mine had never been in the water.

Demo models are sold to dealers to use as...demonstration models. They get an incentive when purchased and are required to keep them in a demo fleet for a period of time before selling.

Interesting... never used?

I don't want to imply that the dealer did anything wrong by giving me a demp model. I went to a demo day, (several mfg. reps were present) and tested an Adventure in the water. I offered to buy it and they accepted my offer, but, they said they had to continue to use it for the rest of the day. I said ok. then one of their customers damaged the demo model I had bought so when I came back the folloowing Monday they offered me their "new" demo if I could accept the color change. That was ok with me so I took the unused demo.
