Quest Pedals will not stay in track. Suggestions or fix to problem?? Have heard solution of putting another track on top of existing but also heard that Hobie may have a better fix for this problem. Thx

Mine does it too. I thought the elastic cord that holds them in might be stretching from opening and closing the hatch.

Better Solution?

Seems that the width is an issue? The tracks are a little far apart? Adding the second track section does the trick I am told.

I haven't looked at it that closely, but I will try and determine what might be the cause. My Quest gets a lot of use in pretty demanding conditions. Salt water, UV sunlight working on any plastic or perhaps the rubber that might be in the stretch cords, sand from running in and out of the surf grinding the parts, it gets a good workout. The pedal popping out is not much of an issue, but might as well check it out. The only time I really notice it is when I load it upside down on the roof racks of my truck.
