I just noticed that the website has been upgraded to show the true weights. Hover over the little light bulb with your mouse, and you get the explanation as shown below in the yellow box:

Now we can truly compare models, and purchase boats knowing the fully rigged weight. Excellent! Thanks Matt!

But........... does it mean that the Revolution weight includes the Mirage Drive? It states that the weight "includes all permanently-attached standard features". The drive isn't permanently attached, but the Revolution is built and billed as a Mirage Drive kayak?

That weight would NOT include the Mirage Drive, which I believe is an extra 6.6 pounds. Most kayak manufacturers listed the hull weight without hatches, bungees, extra fittings etc. It's been a source of confusion for many as the Hobie kayaks come very well equipped with several fittings included as standard equipment, all of which added weight to the original hull weight. Now when you look at the Revolution (for instance) the weight quoted is the weight that you would have to lift to put it on your car. Things like the Mirage Drive would be extra.

Note the two weights listed in the example.

One is fully rigged with all features... seat, drive, paddles.

The other is a stripped down (lift) weight.
