I read in another post that the turbo fins were needed in the new Mirage Adventure Island once under way because they still couldn't keep up with the speed of the boat under sail power.

If the hull speed of the kayak can be reached with peddling, I'm assuming this is no more than 7 mph, then how much faster can the sail take the kayak?

So, my burning question is, how fast is the new Hobie Mirage Adventure Island under sail power? This is an important spec for me to know when considering the total fun quotient in my purchase decision.

Smokin. THe hull planes, so displacement hull speed is not an issue. Sail power can take it MUCH faster than even the ST Turbos can pedal.
