Lovely day on Loch lomond on friday. Came across a motorcycle accident on the way home.
Next day we Went to Appin. Big traffic jam. Came across a motorcycle accident. Waited until it cleared. (Alternative route is a 90 mile detour. This is scotland, we only have a few roads)
Then we Sneaked through Bonawe Quarry up Loch Etive. BBQued. Came back. Quarry Gates Locked!! Eeeek! Called the polis who were going to find us a key holder. Waited....more. A bloke who lives up the glen came through anyway and released us! Phew. Cancelled the polis. (There are holiday homes up that road)
Claire demanded we went to a campsite with TOILETS and we pay and we won't get locked in. (Fair enough)
Next day we launched into loch Creran . Too windy. Lasted 30 minutes. Abandoned soaked, but giggling like children.
Came home. A82 Traffic Jam. Waited even more.
So....Basically we are going to Croatia with Croyak next week for a much safer camping/kayaking holiday. THE END.
