Go with a PA to stay the driest, as they both have a raised seat. Of the two you mentioned, go with the Outback, but wear breathable waders as previously suggested. Due to the seat design it doesn't allow for drainage. |

Test pedal both and decide for yourself. Out here in the PNW most bigger guys have Outbacks and most lighter guys have Revo 13s. I am 6'3" to 6'4" and weigh 215. After trying both I got an Outback. I took a bunch of wakes over the bow with the Revo. The Outback was slower but dry. Plus I liked the deck space of the Outback. Everyone has different tastes don't let anyone else tell you yours. |

Consider the Oasis. I've heard from people who have used a lot of Hobies that the rear seat in the Oasis is the driest in the fleet (maybe that doesn't include the inflatables or more recently introduced Pro Angler). I have an Oasis and find the rear seat to be very dry, and it makes a great and very capable single, plus gives you the option of taking a buddy. |
