That looks like a kill switch lanyard like you find on PWC's and some bass boats. Brian C |

I have been making my various leashes from sections of phone cord and crimp connections, they work great. |

Hey Havoc, Here are a couple of my earlier posts about to make your own lanyards and leashes. I use these not only on my Mirage Drive, but also on my rods, knife, pliers, and everything else that I don't want to contribute to the sea gods. Those in Matt’s pic look just like mine that I made from old cell phone cords. Get some clips from West Marine or Lowes, some sleeves or ferrules from the same sources and you are good to go. I also have made some drive leashes from ordinary parachute cord secured to clips with ferrules also. Here are some links on how to go about making your own: 1. Using nylon parachute cord http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewt ... hone+cords 2. Using old cell phone cords: http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2088 In place. Have fun. Dick |
