I have an Adventure 2010 with a black rudder handle fitted on crank below deck with an allen screw. When I tightend the allen screw the brass insert came out. This brass insert is pressed in the black rudder handle. I ordered a new rudder handle and to my surprise I got a handle with the allen screw on the left side of the handle. I also have an Adventure Island 2012 with a new bigger handle but there is also differences in hull mold. The new handle is more slanted and narrower to the seat. My question is: Does the new handle, that I have on the 2012 AI fit on the 2010 Adventure? And if so do I need the same crank (below deck) that I have on the 2012 AI? Or is there another "newer" handle beetween these? Please answer with partnumbers so I can order correct parts. br thomas |

I wish I could be of more help, but the best I can offer is to download the Hobie parts catalog in PDF form and see if the parts are the same. They generally list parts going back a few years and if they were different you'll be able to tell. |
