THIS IS NOT MINE, but rather something I just saw tonight on you tube just now and liked so much I wanted to share figuring there's gotta be someone else out there with the same issue. I usually rest the yak on the top back of my SUV, lift the back of the yak and push it up onto my racks (ok, I have PVC trough racks not the yakima saddles like this guy, but I think it'll still work)...and there's been more than once where I didnt have the yak well centered/balanced and it wanted to slide off to one side and I found myself panicking in a balancing act and juggling to maneuver it back to center...not a pretty sight I'm sure. This looks like it would help that. Can't wait to try it! I think I could even just slide this into the existing PVC racks on my roof rack woohoo. Now why didn't I think of that?!?
