I'm curious how do you transport your kayak?

Wow...! Did you think of everything? I think you got it. Very impressive.

Right now I am sitting here at home waiting to take my PA out, but the weather is not cooperating. Hoping it will warm up some.... Looks like the winds died down and maybe in a day or two I can get out there and do some fishing.

Good luck with your custom ride.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.

@tstrammer

It's home made high back seat, can be made for about 10 bucks. Here's Rudy who gave me the idea

Actually with all that stuff on it, its not bad to assemble/disasseble. Takes about 15 mins. The whole build is in a playlist on youtube. I'll post the major links

This is the entire build project link

The only bummer right now though, it's too cold to go out. Hoping to get a nice day in sometime.

Cheers M8's

Interesting.......I am not sure I fully understand the need/rationale of the large side pontoons (or amas)....can you elaborate?

@Paultergeist
Mostly for sailing, they add alot more stability. Also I can stand in my yak without any problems. The hard pontoons you see there are a great platform too for that trampoline type of setup. I needed more room. This is only the revo 11, I would go larger but I have a hard time right now piggy backing it onto my truck top. So I really couldnt go any larger without a trailer in my case. Unfortunatly I'm not as well as I would like to be right now.

Cheers M8.

I didn't realize it was a Revo 11 until you said so. Maybe the pontoons threw off my sense of scale, I swore it was a Revo13. I thought I was overloading my Revo11 and I didn't have even half of what you do. There's a pic of mine in this thread: http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=45042

The big question is, have you been in the water with it since doing all the modifications? How does it sail? How is the fishing with all that rigging in the way?
