Hello all, I am wandering if there were any major or minor design changes between the 2009 hobie mirage sport 2011 models? This would include seat upgrades hull changes and or anything that would make a major difference in purchasing older model 2009 as apposed to a new model. Cheers Greg |

Ok does anyone know if the 2009 sport has the the click-in-go mirage drives? |

Ok after speaking with a dealer I got the following. "Ok, the only real changes made to the Sport between 2009 and 2013 is the seat for 09 does not have the inflatable lumbar support AND the current 13' model has pull cords for the up/down on the rudder where the 09' has a lever you turn one way or the other.... that is about it on changes! It has the V2 click-n-go Mirage drive as well. Cheers |

I would have responded since I had a 2011 Sport, but I didnt know what the 2009 had for comparison. My 2011 had the click and go v2 mirage drive and pull chord rudder. Are you planning to buy a used Hobie sport? |
