Post subject:  Replacement MirageDrive V1 Part
I've got a Hobie Outback purchased new in 2006. I recently lost one of the plastic pedal crank caps that close off the pedal end of the MirageDrive crank assembly shaft. Per the latest parts guide, I ordered part # 81222101 to replace it, but the part does not fit and looks very different from the current cap remaining on the other shaft. Here's a photo, comparing the two caps. If anyone has the correct part #, I'd appreciate your help. Thanks.

These caps have evolved over the years. The cap is now screwed down (thus the hole in the top); the notch is for a small pedal bungee. They are probably the same part #. Ask your dealer to call Hobie Parts and inquire if any of the older versions are still available. 8)

Older caps are not available. Adapt or glue the new version in its place.
