I have this foam thing under my seat. Is this needed or can I take it out? |

I was wondering the same thing, mine moved and its kind of rolling around in the back. I just left it there as its not really in the way of anything. |

It's extra flotation to meet a standard. It's meant to be there, but you could take it out if it's in the way. A little safer with it in as shipped. |

In some cases they are also placed there to add a bit of additional support for the deck and hull. It should fit snugly between those pieces. ............ |

I bought my Revolution used... either it never came with any additional foam or the previous owner took it out... in any event I would like to add some to my kayak. Does anyone know what type of foam Hobie uses and where I might get some blocks of it retail? |

Pool noodles are a good cheap alternative. |

One 4 inch pool noodle in the front will keep an Adventure afloat enough to bail or pump it out. |
