Wow! What a beaut!! Looks like she handles speed well, like the Adventure, with little wake. Rides nice and high at the stern at speed. You can see lots of design evolution -- ample bouyancy including higher gunwales, "round down" stern for enhanced storage, cozy, ergonomic cockpit. wider rudder strap to accomodate the sailing rudder, efficient front hatch design that looks fairly accessable underway.

Looks like it will fly, both in the water and out the retailers' doors!! Can't wait to try one!! 8)

Matt - What will be the differences in the fish model of the Revolution be? Now I have to rethink the Outback that I was ready to order. How much more in price? Mike

I see on the product review webpages that the Outback Revolution does not have "options" listed, nor does it have as many "features" as the Outback Mirage. Is the webpage totally updated, as to list all the options and features that the Revolution offers? I realize it's a new product, and the page may still be being developed. I'm looking to get one of the two I listed for fishing purposes, and I like the concept of the Revolution, but the fishing-power of the Mirage seems superior. Are there plans to add more "fishing options" to the Revolution? Can you put a sail onto the Revolution? And the "outriggers?" Some comparisons and contrasts by the moderators would be appreciated. Maybe I'm overlooking some things though that I haven't yet found on the website. Thanks!

MatO, I'll try to answer some of your questions... The Revo is listed in both kayak and fishing sections of website. The fishing version comes with some fishing accessories. If you want to rig it with more, KFS or other dealers can do so for you. Yes, both versions accept the sail kit. The Adventure Island sail and outriggers only fit the Adventure, but the normal sail kit and sidekick outriggers fit all the kayaks, and work great.
