Is is okay to store a revo 13 on 2" PVC Schd 40 Pipe with the PVC as follows:

4 pieces each 18" long
2 pieces, one each in the long groves on the bottom, up front in the area of the mirage drive (basically centered with the center of the mirage drive)
2 pieces, one each in the long groves on the bottom, in the back with the center of the PVC pipe under the scupper hole.

the PVC pipes sit on perpindicular 2x4s - the bottom of the revo only touches air.

I see all the posts about using PVC on pro anglers, but what about these 4 short pieces on a revo in the above posistions.

Seems to me, that it's not much different if you were to use the Hobie Cradles to store your kayak.....but if it was my kayak, I would use 2 lengths of PVC the were 7 to 8 feet long and mounted with cross boards spaced 5 feet apart.
This will really support the main body of the kayak as the longer PVC pipes will "sag and conform to a much longer area" .

I used this method when I had an Outback, but I used 2 7/8" OD schedule 40 pipes........when I upgraded to a PA-14, the only change I needed to make was a slight width adjustment, to fit the PA-14's bottom dimensions.

What hobbie cradels?

I"ve seen cradels for the AI, but not revo, are there Hobie cradles for the revo?

I"m hoping Hobie Admin will speak up here.

You are correct...Hobie does not make a cradle to fit the Revo.....brain freeze  ...I was thinking of the PA cradle design when I replied.
However, the Hobie cradles are about 10-12" wide and I was comparing this to the 18" length of the PVC you are using.
