Post subject:  Broken Carry Handle

Yesterday while turning my 2010 Oasis over, the carry handle on the side broke. It has two screws to hold the handle in place. There is no way I can reach behind with a wrench if there is a nut on the back. Has anyone had to replace one of these and is there an easy way to replace the handle? I'm just not sure what backs the screws and would like a little foreknowledge before I go at the task. Thanks in advance for any advice and info given. :D

Most of these handles screw into a molded insert so you shouldn't have any problem. Just try unscrewing one and see what happens. I think it'll come right out and leave you with a threaded insert within the hull.

Thanks Tom,
I was hoping it was something that simple. When I looked at it I kept wondering, how did they do this when they built it? Your answer makes all the sense in the world. Now I'll get one ordered and break out the Phillips head screwdriver. :D
