A "good deal" for a hull that can't be repaired is a "no deal" in my vocabulary.
The Mirage drive looks sad too......why buy someone else junk?

Seriously,
Agree, it's junk, $200 max if you think you can bring the mirage pedals back to life.

That hull is scrap and cannot be repaired, I wouldn't pay $850 for a paddle and what looks like a pretty worn out mirage drive that will cost a couple hundred to rebuild.
Anyone recognize that model and any guess what year it is. Could it be a 2006 or earlier sport or maybe an early adventure ?
If so that's really old. It looks like the plastic has become brittle.

Like the others said; the only value might be in the mirage drive.

@Fusionengineer: I'm pretty sure it's an 06 Adventure (or earlier) We have an 06 Adventure and I'm glad I store in the garage and regularly use Aerospace 303.

Thanks for the honest replies. For the record I knew the hull was trashed and the mirage drive rusty. I thought it was pretty crazy that someone would try to pass this hull off to someone else as repairable. I was completely joking.

Hey if you could get the blue one for around $100 to $150 bucks, then transfer any components needed (like the mirage drive, paddle, etc) to this one ( http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/boa/4191548953.html ). You would have a pretty nice adventure for around $600 to $700 bucks, if the yellow one is ok and you could get it for $500 you would be set. Of course the yellow one would need to be inspected carefully, it looks like it was scavenged for parts, but it doesn't look too bad by the picture. Both are in the same area. The yellow one appears to be sitting at a dealer (likely an ex dealer). Especially if the yellow one is newer and there is some warranty left, it would be a sweet deal for someone wanting to take a little risk. Considering a new Adventure is $2100.
Actually the yellow one is an adventure Island (with no AMA's) I'm guessing 2009 or 10 (it has the newer style mast holder I think). I'm sure there are tons of T/S rudders floating around, I know I have one in my garage from my TI, that would likely bolt on.
You would need to verify that the HID number is clear, and that this was not a dead warranty replaced hull (supposed to have been destroyed), that has been repaired or salvaged) BIG RED FLAGS.

This is all assuming that mirage drive is at least salvageable.
I remember a couple years ago an ex Hobie dealer in Crystal River (FL) offered me a killer deal on a couple adventure Islands that they never sold, they were several years old at the time but supposedly still new. So there are deals out there if you know where to look I guess.
A lot of flim flam sheisters out there on craigs list.
