Hello,
My old style, set screws to hold the masts, mirage drive is finally finished. I could just upgrade the sprockets, but with everything else tired on it am thinking of splurging for a new one. Do you think I will see much improvement performance wise? On my old one there is a good bit of extra play of the crank/drums to the spindle connection. ( which adjusting the cables does not help)
Thank you for any input.

Unlikely. They have always performed well. A few small changes were made over the years to lengthen the life of some of the components, although it appears the very latest units may have taken a step backwards in terms of crank arm longevity under very hard use.
