I read about Hobies passing yesterday....who would have thought that one guys ideas, could successfully bring to market several products we have enjoyed over the years...and continue to enjoy.....Thanks Hobie |

a sad loss and my condolences to the family. The man may be gone but the legend will live on and on. I can remember the first Hobie Cats hitting Fort Lauderdale beach. The Hobie line has only grown and improved since then. Revo |

LOL! That "history" comes from every non-compete agreement he ever signed when he sold each business. Sold the surfboard business and couldn't build boards anymore, so went to catamarans... then to kayaks ... then to... |
