New guy here. I recently purchased a used 2005 Hank Parker Outback that seems to be in great condition. I did some reading before purchasing and found out that they are known for hull cracking issues near the drive and also drive issues. As far as i can tell, my kayak seems fine to me. Can anyone please provide pictures of the issues? I want to make sure that it is all good to go before the season starts. Also, I read that hobie had at one point sent out an "upgrade/repair" kit to prevent these issues from occurring. Does anyone have any information on that? Thank you in advance. |

After more research, it seems that the one I have is a 2003 model. Do these suffer from the same issues? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

2003 is before issues came up with drive wells due to a change in plastic suppliers after that time. |

Matt, which model years were the ones which were affected by the problem plastic from that supplier? |
