Listed capacity is not just about absolute weight limit -- the Revo 13 can easily handle the weight. But there are also the matters of center of gravity and center of longitudinal stability. Listed capacities assume passengers are in the designated seating areas with + limited cargo weights in the cargo area. In other words, with too much combined weight in the back, the bow can come out of the water and destabilize the boat. So with a second person in the back, the maximum safe carrying capacity would decrease somewhat. Common sense applies here -- if the boat feels tippy with a second person aboard, be sure to wear your bathing suit!
