Having just received a replacement '07 OUTBACK hull to replace the '04 I owned with a crack in the drive area I was wondering about the following:

What do I need to do to register the new hull serial number?

( my dealer gave me no paperwork with the transaction, matter of fact, I never saw the actual dealer. He sent out the 20 year old sales associate who took my old kayak, unwrapped the new one and sent me on my way)

Is there any paperwork that HOBIE requires from me to update my ownership of either hull?

Keep your original purchase receipt.

If you would like the warranty registration here to reflect the new number, email to info "at" hobiecat.com Include all your personal info and the model, color and serial number to be sure we have it all.

Reality? We don't require a warranty registration.
