I thought it would be helpful for people to have an idea of what Hobie Mirages are selling for. This might help both buyers and sellers. I thought year, general condition, location, any add-ons, and price would be nice.

I recently purchased a 2002 tandem , excellent condition, SF East Bay Area, $1600. No add-ons. It was probably over priced, but I hadn't been able to find much used inventory.

Anyone else willing to say their purchase or selling info?

2008 Outback bought in November 2012 for $1000, was in near perfect condition only used in freshwater. I've done a lot of add-ons and I am beyond pleased with 'Ahab'.

I purchased a 2003 tandem in August 2014 in Petaluma, Calif. No add-ons, but in good condition. Paid $1,400.

We got my husband's 2013 Outback on Craigslist in September for $1500. It was in mint condition, and came with all stock accessories, plus a beach cart and turbo fins.

Five days later, found an awesome deal on my 2014 Sport at a local boat company. It was sent to them as a demo, but never used, never even taken out of the plastic until we got there to pick it up. Only paid $1250 for it. I still need to get some turbo find and a sailing rudder for it.

In Sept 2013, I purchased a 2013 Outfitter from a dealer for $1,950. It was a demo which was never used and wrapped in plastic.
