Bought a new 2015 Outback this week. Went out and fished today. Came home and noticed some white discoloration on the bottom /lower side....this us my 4th Outback. I've never seen this...any ideas what it is? Factory flaw?

Pond scum....something in the water?
Have you tried cleaning it?
I pick up stuff in the water that looks like discoloration....cleaning removes it.

Yes,,, cleaned it like my last three Outbacks, PA12, and the Jackson and Tarpons I have owned. I've never seen this before.

That's really strange unless the discoloration was there originally and you did not notice it..
Suggest applying Aerospace 303 protectant or the Hobie protectant to see if the color changes......what color is your Outback?

It really looks like there was a small amount of the dune colored material, that was mixed into the olive colored material and ended up deposited in the location shown, when the hull was rotomolded.
I would have your Hobie dealer to get involved at this point.

If it is true that`s another color mixed in i am surprised that the Outback was not sent out to be used as a Demo.
