Just bought a 2014 Revo 13 demo boat from a dealer.

The dealer could not locate the pack of miscellaneous bit-and-pieces used to mount a Lowrance transducer in the transducer pocket. I'm trying to chase them down and want to make sure I have the right part numbers, and all of the pieces I'll need.

I know I need these parts:

86506001 - LOWRANCE ADAPTOR (2)
86506201 - TRANSDUCER SUPPORT CLIP (2)
8050211 - NYLOCK NUT
86509501 - SCREW

I don't know if I need these two:

86505611 - THRU HULL PLUG
86505701 - RUBBER ADAPTER PLUGS (TREE)

Or this one:

86505621 - HOBIE THRU HULL WIRING KIT

Does anyone know if this is the complete list, and whether I need the full wiring kit, or just the plug and adapters?

And hey! When I call in to ask the question, why doesn't Hobie respond?

Thanks.

Welcome to the club. I can't answer your question because I have no experience of the kit you refer to but I am sure someone else will chip in.

By the way, you will find that Hobie Cat the company is very responsive indeed to a huge range of questions and issues posted on these forums and/or raised via other channels... you may have been unlucky in not getting a response when you tried contacting them but I am sure that you are going to find them and their representatives very ready, willing and able to help with problems.

Thank you, I'm glad to be a member.

I have no problem about not receiving a telephone reply from Hobie support, and look forward to being able to ask and learn from everyone here in the forum.

In the US? If so, likely was routed to sales... they handle missing parts from boats. I'd guess they take the information and contact your dealer or place an order. I always return calls that come to me though. Even if just to say the issue is solved.

Yeah, in the U.S. and as I said, no big deal. I don't care where I get the answer, as long as I get the answer I need.

Do you know what the part numbers are for the parts I need to order to install my Lowrance 83/200kHz 455/800KHz transducer? I'd sure like to get it installed and get out on the water.

Jacques, I received parts from a Hobie dealer that are not the OEM Hobie screws.

8050211 - NYLOCK NUT
86509501 - SCREW
8030671 - SCREW (COVER PLATE)

They screws I received not SS and the nut is not nylock. I'll handle the dealer, but I still need to get the correct parts.

Before I contact another dealer to order them, are they still available from Hobie? No need going thru the long lead time again if the dealers cannot get those screws and nuts from you.

Toor...the SS hardware Hobie uses are standard SAE threads.....also available at any hardware store that carries SS if you can't wait for delivery.
Most of the hardware is either 8-32 or 10-32 and 1/4 x 20 the largest. A mixture of Philips head and flat head machine screws.
8050211 = 10-32 Nylock SS nut
86509501 = 10-32 x 1 3/4 " PHMS SS (screw)
8030671 = 8-32 x 5/8" PHMS SS (screw)

I can wait, since the sea is not friendly at this time of year. But if they are no longer available to dealers, I'll hit a hardware or marine supply store. Thanks.
