I am looking to buy an electric trolling motor for my new hobie tandem outfitter.
The choice seem,s endless, do we buy a name brand or no name what thrust motor do we need.
We will use our outfitter mainly for fishing with 2 people on board.
Motor will only be used coming back home after a hard days fishing.
As we are new to this type of boating any help would be great.
Thanks terry

Be sure to consider what mounting system you'll choose..Hobie doesn't offer a mounting system for putting trolling motors on any model except for the PA 17, which has special built-in reinforcements for accepting a MotorGuide. Also, warranty should be taken into consideration, as mounting something like this on your outfitter may void or partially void your warranty.
