Last time I was out in the 2011 Revo 11, I could not get the rudder down all the way using the rudder down handle. It would go down, but not all the way, resulting in the yak continuously turning left, even with the steering handle all the way right.

I had to reach back and push the rudder down with my hand for it to work. I tried several times to lift it back up and put it back down, with the steering handle in several positions, but nothing worked except manually reaching back and pushing it down.

Any suggestions as to what needs to be adjusted here?

(I searched the forums for an answer, but could not find one... most questions are about problems when NOT cleating the line, which I always do.)

Thanks.

Try loosening the center bolt on the Twist-n-stow rudder just a little-little bit and try it again.

Mine is sometimes tough to lock as well. After you pull the rudder down and tension the down line in its locking cleat, put a little speed on the boat and cycle the rudder control full left and full right. This should snap it into the locked position. 8)
