Hello everybody!
This is my first post in this forum and I start with a question.
I'd like to add the rudder to my Quest but I've found on austinkayak a rudder kit (factory from Hobie) with a different shape...
The blade is not so linear as in another rudder kit always from Hobie and always for the Quest (what you can find from kayakfishingstuff, for example).
Now, is that a new shape and, most important, is it right for my Quest?
many thanks from your answer.
I'm pik, and this nick stands for "pesca in kayak" that in italia means "kayak fishing"!!
Sorry, I forget to say that I'm from Italy!
Bye
luca
http://www.pescainkayak.com the site is only in italian but kayak fishing is worldwide!!!

Quest rudders had been a Feather Craft rudder system until this year. That was a metal blade, narrow and long. We have now changed to the Hobie designed "Twist-n-Stow" that is standard on all of our boats.

Many, many, many thanks Matt!!!
Now I can go
I use my Quest for fishing and I FEEL the rudder is a real need.
I don't know why the kit includes pedals that were just present on my Quest.... anyway...
Thanks again Matt :D
