Yes, love to see it here.

So, we suspect the drum you are using on the right side? But, we don't know why it is an issue? Maybe the assembly guys will have see this before. I'll check monday.

Matt

Couple of clarifications:

A. There is no such thing as a left and right drum per se. It's one drum that fits either side. I just referred to them as left and right once I had the pedal assemblies attached.

B. I have the Hobie address as 4925 Oceanside Blvd. . Whose attention get's marked on the package so it get's to the right party? You??

C. It appears we have taken the dealer out of the chain regarding part return. I've e-mailed you my address so you can ship a replacement direct. Or does that foul stuff up?

Thanks for the help.

aloha

Dan

Dan,

Yes, send to my attention.

No problem shipping a part direct to you.

I did not get an email from you yet. Did you use info (at) hobiecat (dot) com? That goes to a sale department desk and then get routed. I may get it Monday.

I forgot to cleanup the thread.

Turned out it was not the drum. Matt shipped me a couple to try..

But what it did turn out to be, was one cable was shorter than another by ~3/8 inch. IIRC Matt stated the production line manager tipped this aspect as they sometimes get a short one from the mfg.

Evidently I mixed up the cable tries and the introduction of a new cable.

So I made sure the longer one went on the front sproket. The shorter one fit easily on the rear. Believe it's due to the angle of the dangle with the spine.
