We own a new Hobie Compass Duo (13.5'). We live in Canada and need to store it over winter (-20+ Celsius). We have an unheated "room" under our cottage where we keep it. The bottom of the compass is fairly flat. Two pontoons on either side of a thin middle pontoon which the rudder is attached to. We have limited space. Do you think we can over winter in the "room" with the boat sitting on its bottom on two padded cross bars?

Hobie recommends storing kayaks upside down on cross supports, ground-level or suspended. We suspend 2 crossbars made out of 2x4s (flat side to cockpit rail) for our Outfitter kayaks.
