I bought a new Hobie Revolution and wondering if I should coat with Hobie Uv Protectant?
I am guessing / hoping new ones already have some UV protectant so its used more for older kayaks.

To prevent UV damage to our kayaks, I agree with @Dr.SteelheadCatcher, you need to apply Aerospace 303. Just coat it liberally and wipe it with a soft cloth. The frequency of application depends on how much you use your boat. A good indication is if the water stops forming beads, you need to apply Aerospace 303 again.

The kayak plastic also has a UV inhibitor in it.
