Hi all

I am new to the kayak hobby. I want to buy a kayak that I can sail in the sea (not a lake or river). Most of the time I will go solo - but I want to take a friend from time to time. What is your recommendation ?
( I am not going fishing - just fun, sport and touring)

By the way - Is it wise to use paddles as well while sailing with the MirageDrive to increase speed & fun ?

Thanks !

I love my Oasis and highly recommend it, I also use mine for the sea as you can see in some of my other posts.

Let's see the differences', length, storage, use, etc...........................

The best way to get an idea of the different setup is to look at the photos on the website along with the specs. The Oasis is supposed to be faster.

My wife and I tried the outfitter and the oasis, and went with the oasis. I love it. It is a little harder to figure out how to set up for fishing, and have'nt yet, but it is fantastic. Had it up in lake George NY this weekend. And it is pretty fast.

Good luck
