Don't you just love new toys? 
I was all bummed because the boss had sold our demo AI... Then I find out that he's turning one of our leftover '07's into a demo! I may even take it down to the coast over the Thanksgiving holiday since the shop is mostly closed anyway. Happy Days! In a nutshell - My favorite boat is someone else's that I get to use.

Congratulations beautiful ship. I didn't see any cart wheels I use mine all the time, (LA Harbor boat ramp) I bought Revolution "Kayacht" 3 weeks ago and love it I've had it out 4 times in LA Harbor and today I went 7.13 miles (GPS(2.5 hrs)) this includes stopping to hassle a bunch of sea lions on a buoy. and other stops. I can make a recommendation: I stopped by my dealer ( Xstreamline in San Pedro) to get the mirage drive seal and it was in stock and works great, but my dealer let me borrow the Sailing rudder he had from an upgrade to the new version. And this thing is worth it's weight in gold, here's why. I've seen a few threads that said it allows you to make fewer rudder adjustments than the stock rudder. and THIS IS TRUE ! (Big Time) where I would have to keep my hand on the tiller and adjust several times a minute to keep a straight course... with the sailing rudder you point the boat, and go, adjustment are minutes apart and then it was because of the wind or waves. (I think). |

Thank you one and all. I took her out today, she rides smooth. One question though. I'm trying to find the online registry for the kayak, but I'll be damned if I can find it. The registration card says you could go to hobiecat.com (duh). Anyone register their kayak online? |

Unless I'm mistaken, only your dealer can do it online. The only online registration I can find is on a dealers-only portion of Hobie's website. Brian C |
